The Central Park Experience

Tim with his pinhole camera. Man feeding ducks in Central park.
On your left is my friend and coworker Tim Carlson, on your right is a man who is a total stranger to both Tim and I. But the ducks sure love him!
Tim is in the process of setting up his pinhole camera, the very simplest form of a camera. Literally a light tight box with film (in this case polaroid) on one side and a tiny pin hole on the other which acts as a lens.
While Tim worked at his photography with the pinhole camera I took my photos using a digital camera. We had the park covered from both ends of the photographic spectrum on this day.
To the right is a photo of Tim getting a shot of an arched bridge. He came away with some really interesting photos here. I like this one showing him at work.
I could comment here on how often I actually see him work (or not), but I won't out of respect for Tim's feelings. Dohhh... I did it again didn't I!
